What kinds of care does the Center provide?
The Center provides the full range of vascular access interventions, using minimally invasive techniques whenever possible. To learn more about specific services, click here.
What are the advantages of receiving care at the Center?
Patients receive quick, expert services because the Center’s sole focus is vascular access care. We use the latest, minimally invasive surgical techniques. Our attractive new facility is conveniently located in Brighton. Parking is free.
What is the facility like?
The bright and attractive facility was completely renovated before opening in 2008. Our two procedure rooms are equipped with up-to-date technology. Parking to the rear of the building is free.
When is the Center open?
The center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
How do I get to the Center?
The Center is easily accessible by car and by public transportation. Please go to Directions.
Is there parking?
Parking is plentiful and free. It is located immediately to the rear of the building.
What if I need care immediately?
We can almost always accommodate requests for same-day appointments. Please call 617-783-5200.
What if I have an emergency outside the hours the Center is open?
Please contact your nephrologist and go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
Who will be my doctor?
The Center’s physicians maintain a regular coverage schedule. If you wish to know who is covering on a particular day, please call the Center at 617-783-5200.
How can I get to the Center?
Most of patients drive or receive rides from family members. The Center is accessible by several MBTA bus routes. If you need help arranging transportation, please call the Center reception desk at 617-783-5200.
Can I continue to see my own doctor after I receive care at the Center?
Yes. The Center’s physicians are committed to returning patients to their nephrologists’ care, and to communicating with them about care delivered at the center.
May I bring a family member with me to the Center?
Yes. The Center encourages patients to bring one family member or other individual who can provide support.
Does the Center provide dialysis?
No. The Center is not a dialysis unit.
